At Emporia Tiles & Bathroom, we specialize in delivering heavy and fragile materials safely to your home or site. Please review our shipping terms below to ensure a smooth delivery process.
1. Delivery & Collection Options
We offer multiple ways to receive your order from our Wednesbury showroom:

In-Store Showroom Pick-up: Free collection directly from our yard at UNIT D Potters Ln, Wednesbury, WS10 7LH. Please wait for a confirmation notification before arriving so our team can prepare your stock and match batch numbers.

Curbside Pickup: Safe, contactless loading into your commercial vehicle or personal car at our showroom location.

Home & Site Delivery: Doorstep or kerbside transport service managed by our specialist fragile-freight partners.
2. Delivery Zones & Rates

Local Deliveries: Standard flat-rate shipping applies to Wednesbury, West Midlands, and surrounding areas.

National UK Shipping: Palletized freight shipping is available across mainland UK. Delivery rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on the total weight of your tiles/fixtures and your delivery postcode.
3. Pallet Delivery Terms (Important)
Because tile boxes and bathroom ceramics are extremely heavy, large orders are shipped on pallets via a tail-lift vehicle.

Kerbside Delivery Only: All pallet deliveries are strictly kerbside. Drivers are not insured to carry heavy items up driveways, steps, inside your home, or onto building sites.

Access Requirements: You must ensure that your delivery location can accommodate a large delivery truck (up to an 18-tonne vehicle). The ground must be flat, even, and solid (tarmac or concrete). Drivers cannot maneuver pallets on gravel, grass, or steep inclines.
4. Shipping Timelines

In-Stock Items: Dispatched within 2 to 3 working days. Delivery typically takes 3 to 5 working days from dispatch.

Special/Custom Orders: Items ordered directly from global manufacturers (such as specialty Italian or Spanish porcelain) may take 2 to 4 weeks. Our team will provide an accurate timeline upon order placement.

Delivery Hours: Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. A specific delivery window will be communicated by the courier.
5. Checking for Damages & Shortages
Tiles and bathroom ware are fragile. While we pack your orders securely, transit movement can occasionally cause damage.

48-Hour Inspection Window: You must inspect your order fully within 48 hours of delivery.

Reporting Damages: In the rare event of breakage or shortages, count the broken tiles, take clear photographs of the damage inside the box, and email them to our team along with your invoice number.

Do Not Install: Once a tile or fixture is installed, it is deemed accepted. We cannot replace damaged or broken items after they have been laid or fitted.
